Our commitment to the customer
We have been project managing for publishing clients for over 25 years. We tailor each project to the client’s needs and, whatever level of overseeing your project requires, you can be assured of an outstanding service from our highly experienced and reliable team. By keeping editorial processes in the UK we meet our own exacting in-house standards.
It’s all about communication
We believe that full liaison with all parties is the key to good project management. We inform and fully involve clients and the respective parties at each and every stage – so the extent of the involvement is decreed by you, not pre-determined by us.
It’s not all about the end game
It really is all about the journey. From the first introduction to our team, and every communication back and forth from author, publisher, copy-editor and proofreader, we are here for the journey.
You may be looking at the polished book on the shelf but we are looking on the inside – that’s right, no judging any book by its cover! We want to fall in love with what’s on the inside of your book – the content. That layout. Oh my, the use of punctuation. It’s what we do, it’s what we love, and it’s what makes this journey so much more than just creating a book: we’re taking the next step and really committing to you and your manuscript. No matter how big or small – size doesn’t matter to us. It’s what’s inside that we’re concerned with, and together we can create something elegant, beautiful and timeless.
Copy-editing, proofreading and indexing
RefineCatch has built up a team of reliable subject-specific freelance copy-editors and proofreaders in the UK. They operate to the client’s brief and liaise directly with authors and our project managers as required.
We work closely with professional UK indexers who adhere to the client’s specifications. Our indexers pay special regard to the levels and length of index required.
If you are an SfEP member or a member of the Society of Indexers and would like to receive work from us, please contact us.
